The 2-disc version of Two Towers was to come out in July, but has been pushed back to Aug 26th. I maintain that it's because of the dual release of Popeye and Lost in La Mancha on June 24th. People are going to need time for their wallet to recover to even think of buying Two Towers and I think Warner Bros is hedging their bets.
But my wife only gave me a dirty look and walked off muttering to herself when I first proposed this.
